mihomo

mihomo is the open-source proxy core that continues the Clash.Meta lineage; it is a rule-based tunnel engine rather than a polished GUI. It reads Clash-format YAML configuration and supports most protocols in active use, including WireGuard endpoints and Hysteria2. Most desktop Clash GUIs wrap this core.

Import steps

  1. Download the mihomo binary for your platform from GitHub releases and make it executable.
  2. Create a working directory with a config.yaml file (or point the -d flag at one).
  3. Fetch a Clash-format subscription and save it, for example download https://hiddenio.com/sub/all?format=clash as config.yaml.
  4. Review the proxies section so it contains the endpoints you expect.
  5. Start the core: ./mihomo -d . (it listens on the mixed-port defined in the config).
  6. Point your browser or system proxy at 127.0.0.1 on that port.
  7. Use the external controller/API or a companion GUI if you want a dashboard and easy node switching.

Point the subscription URL at the feed builder to customize protocols, countries and formats first.
