Source policy

Last updated: 2026-09-01
## What we index HiddenIO indexes **publicly accessible documents** that contain proxy/VPN configurations: public channels and their message history, public web pages, public code repositories, pastebins and raw text lists. If a document requires a login, payment or secret link, we do not fetch it. ## Review before fetch Sources are never added automatically. Every candidate source goes through human review for: - public accessibility (no credentials, no paywall); - crawl-safety (robots.txt and rate limits are respected); - SSRF validation (internal addresses are rejected); - minimal scope (we fetch the narrowest location that contains the data). Anyone can [suggest a source](/submit-source); suggestions enter the same review queue and are fetched only after approval. ## What we store per source The source URL, a canonical name, a parser assignment, fetch statistics and snapshots of the parsed results. We do not keep raw credentials beyond the indexed configuration fields themselves. ## Publisher opt-out If you publish a list and do not want it indexed, [contact us](/report) or block **HiddenIOBot/1.0** via your robots.txt (see the [bot policy](/bot-policy)). We honor removal requests promptly and confirm once the source is retired. ## Removal To request removal of a source or of specific records, use the [report form](/report) with type "source_issue" or "copyright". See the [copyright page](/copyright) for the formal process.
