L2TP/IPSec
About L2TP/IPSec
L2TP is an older tunneling protocol that provides no encryption of its own, so it is almost always deployed together with IPsec, written as L2TP/IPsec. Configuration is a server address, a pre-shared key or certificate and user credentials, entered into the OS's built-in VPN client. Because it encapsulates twice it is slower than IKEv2 or WireGuard, and its fixed ports make it easy to block. Support remains universal, which keeps it alive as a fallback option.

Frequently asked questions
Where do these records come from?
All records are collected from public sources — channels, websites, pastebins and repositories. Each record links back to the sources that published it.
What does freshness mean?
Freshness shows when a configuration was last seen in a public source. It is not a test result and does not mean the server is reachable.
How often is this page updated?
The index is refreshed continuously as sources are re-checked; these pages are regenerated every few minutes from the latest data.
Freshness shows when a config was last seen in a public source — not whether it works.
