Overview
Importing a subscription follows the same pattern in almost every client: add a remote profile by URL, refresh it, pick a server, connect. Menu labels shift between versions, so this guide describes the actions generically. Detailed, client-specific notes are being added to the client pages linked from /subscriptions/.
General steps
- Copy the subscription URL, for example
https://hiddenio.com/sub/all. - In your client, find the *add profile* or *new subscription* action - usually behind a + button.
- Choose *from URL* / *remote* and paste the link.
- Save, then run the *update subscription* action to download the list.
- Select one of the imported servers and start the connection.
- If the client shows a QR code import option instead, display the feed's QR panel (see the QR generator) and scan it.
Picking the right payload format
- V2Ray-style apps (v2rayNG, V2Box, NapsternetV) accept the default raw or base64 feed.
- Clash GUIs want
?format=clash. - sing-box apps want
?format=sing-box. - WireGuard apps need a
.conffile; use?format=wireguard-confor download the single entry.
If a link fails to import, decode it first with the config parser to see whether the endpoint is malformed or simply uses a protocol your client lacks.
After importing
Refresh the subscription periodically - endpoints from public lists disappear often. Prefer servers with a recent freshness badge, and disconnect when you are done.
Limitations
HiddenIO indexes configs from public sources and cannot guarantee that any endpoint in a feed works or is safe to use; importing is your decision and traffic flows through third-party servers you do not control.
